Untold black and white memories

Some photos that we barely tell, when...

I wish i know what's going on in the photos below. But i don't have much information about it. Mak is also unfamiliar with it.

Me and mak was going around the house trying to find my pink baju kurung when we stumbled upon some old albums in our house. Probably the oldest one we ever have. The black and white pictures. Some of it were in bad conditions. My late grandpa is a camera lover. So we have photos collection probably from the 50's to the 80's.

The dusty album and the smell is just.... classic

We used to take a look at old pictures and laughed about it. 'What's wrong with your eyes', 'Your leg is awkward', 'Aunty's pose is so funny' .But now we still laughed at each other but inside we suppressed sadness. So many people had left us. So many good memories we have forgotten. Can I go back to those places again, where i used to play in my grandpa's car with my cousins.

This is not really black and white. Red? Location: Tawau.

This is so blurry. The original picture is so small like 3.0 x 2.0 inch something. I don't know what camera they used. I wish my grandparents are still around to tell me why they were taking pictures in front of the hospital. haha.

Old photos make our thoughts wandered. The day, the story. All we do is reminiscing. There's not much you can do. Thanks to photo, old memories will always be in place. We favoured the photos with the best pose, the best smile, the perfect angle with no awkward legs or hands. But in the end candid photos speak the best and we love it the most.

If i'm not mistaken he looks like our first prime minister. maybe i'm wrong. taken from the old album. was this in sabah? tawau? but my cousin remembers that my late grandma did mentioned something about the prime minister visit.

Memory is a way of holding onto the things you love, the things you are,
the things you never want to lose.

Wow a pics of the first prime minister.. that was original ^^

In my case, some of the old photograph that I found usually had something written at the back, which explain about the picture.
