Why Stretching?


(Because using the word yoga will bring in the discussion of spiritual centric, thus let's not go there)


Assalamualaikum and hi,


I’m not the kind that up for constant working out.

Sport is still an awkward thing for me. But so far I survived it without embarrassing myself.

I guess I get along with it well

And I like being fit, being in control with my body.

So for those struggling to fit in exercise routine in your busy schedule, you maystart with stretching.




Here's why...

1. Flexibility, posture and bone health are probably the best reasons.

2. No gym or court required. You can use your own space. As long as it is spacious enough for your body.

3. You don't have to buy new shoes. When you want to start jogging you feel like buying new shoes, if you want to hike, another new pair. Stretching? Barefoot and you are good to go.

4. Sexy.

5. You'll sweat, trust me. Getting your legs straight could be a tough job.

6. Mat is cheaper than a bicycle.

7. The list is getting ridicilous, I better stop.



Warm up. Start with light and easy movement. You're not trying to be a gymnast here.
